Day 1 – Arrive Marrakech
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. This evening, meet your fellow travelers and delight in a dinner show featuring traditional dishes, lively acrobats, belly dancers, horsemen and more.


Day 2 – Marrakech
After breakfast, begin the day with a walking tour of the “hidden sides of Marrakech”, including the artisan quarters and the colorful Souks. We’ll then stroll through Jemaa El Fna, a vibrant and famous square in the heart of the city. In the afternoon, enjoy a charming tour around the majestic ramparts of Marrakech before visiting the enchanting Majorelle Garden. You will also visit the beautifully designed Berber Museum displaying Yves Saint Laurent’s personal collection of Berber antiques.


Day 3 – Marrakech
Today we will venture out of the city and head towards the Atlas Mountains. Driving through the Ourika Valley and dramatic landscapes, we will arrive at an authentic mountain community to experience the daily life in the Atlas Mountains for ourselves. Try your hand at preparing a local dish in the kitchen of a village family and get to know them better over a pot of traditional mint tea – made by you! Roll up your sleeves and mold wet clay during a ceramics workshop, try your hand at weaving a colorful kilim, or walk the farm terraces to see the work that goes into ancient irrigation and subsistence farming methods. Note: an authentic, interactive experience is guaranteed, but specific activities are subject to change based on availability.


Day 4 – Marrakech to Casablanca
Today we will check out of the hotel in Marrakech and travel to Casablanca across the agricultural plains. After a delicious lunch, we will enjoy an orientation tour of Casablanca. Then, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.


Day 5 – Casablanca
Start the day with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, arguably the most impressive architectural achievement in Morocco’s recent history. Continue to Rabat, an elegant city that has been serving as the capital of Morocco since the early 20th century. Enjoy a tour of the fortified town of Kasbah Oudaya and the 17th-century royal residence, including its impressive Andalusia style garden. Take in the sights of Mohamed V Mausoleum and the nearby medieval Hassan Tower. End the tour at the museum of Moroccan Contemporary Arts before returning to Casablanca for a farewell dinner.


Day 6 – Casablanca to Barcelona
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 7 – Barcelona Embarkation
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the port, where you will board the Odyssey of the Seas.


Day 8-14 – Cruising onboard the Odyssey of the Seas
Ports of call include Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Nice, France; Florence/Pisa, Sicily and Naples, Italy.


Day 15 – Rome Disembarkation
Enjoy breakfast onboard, then disembark the Odyssey of the Seas and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Optional 2-night Rome hotel stay available, see “Extensions” section below for details.


For meals not included in your land programs, all hotels chosen include a restaurant on property where you may relax and enjoy a meal. In addition, your guide is available to make suggestions on nearby dining, shopping or sightseeing.

Want an extra day to adjust to the new time zone? With this optional extension you will arrive to Marrakech a day early and have one extra day to relax at the hotel before the tour starts. Price of $175 per person is based on double occupancy and includes 1-night hotel accommodations in Marrakech with daily breakfast and private transfer from airport to hotel (applicable when air is booked through Enrichment Journeys). Note: tours are not included. Although you will disembark in Rome, the itinerary does not include any time there. With this optional extension you will stay for 2 nights in Rome after your cruise, giving you time to explore the city on your own before flying home. Price of $770 per person is based on double occupancy and includes 2-night hotel accommodations in Rome with daily breakfast and private transfer from ship to hotel and hotel to airport (applicable when air is booked through Enrichment Journeys). Note: tours are not included.

What to Know Before You Go
The land portion of the trip should be considered active and includes a considerable amount of walking.
Enrichment Journeys will do everything in our power to ensure comfort through our third-party providers, including air-conditioned buses and comfortable accommodations where applicable. However, some areas cannot be accessed by coach, so our drivers will get you as close to sites as is legally allowed. Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are strongly recommended. Historical sites often do not have elevators, escalators, or ramps due to the age of the building/structure. Steps can be steep and uneven. Based on crowds and traffic, order of visits may be changed. You may have to walk a moderate distance to transfer to coach stations and airport terminals. Time spent on the road and traveling can be long, so you will need to be prepared for stretches of down time in between destinations.
Wheelchair access at many sites is limited. A fold-up wheelchair may be able to be stored on the bus but requires prior arrangements. Guests must be able to transfer from their chair to the transportation. Guides/drivers are not allowed to lift or push wheelchairs, so guests requiring physical assistance must travel with a companion who can assist. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters cannot be accommodated on this group program.

You may also use a third-party visa service, such as Expedited Travel. These services require an additional service fee but make the process of applying for a visa much simpler.
