This morning we depart to visit Safed, the Holy City in the Galilee mountains. We will visit the old city and the ancient 16th century Synagogues (both Ashkenazi and Sephardic) and walk around the unique artist colony dedicated to traditional Jewish art. Drive through the Galilee to Tiberias and the Sea Of Galilee. Board a nice wooden river boat and sail the Sea Of Galilee to the ancient town of Capernaum. Here will visit the house of St. Peter and walk around the ruins of the ancient Synagogue found here during archaeological excavations. From Capernaum we drive to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the multiplication of bread and fishes, and then a short drive uphill to the Mount of Beatitude where Jesus made the Sermon on the Mount.
